EKX
Creative strategist shaping brands through identity, campaigns, editorial design, and visual storytelling. I connect strategy with culture to create work that feels intentional, memorable, and built to last.
OC Votes: Identity Rebrand
OC Votes needed one visual system that unified dozens of county nonprofit partners across print, digital, social media, and web.
Role: Creative Consultant. Brand strategy, visual identity, communications toolkit, partner social media ads, and website design, built from the ground up.
The toolkit let partner organizations deploy on brand social media ads independently, extending consistent messaging across the county's civic engagement network without funneling every request through one designer.
Applied across the campaign website and outreach materials to keep the campaign recognizable at every partner touchpoint.
Peekaboo: Kendrick Lamar Press Rollout
A class assignment built as a press rollout for a fictional tour: wheatpasted tour posters paired with a magazine feature, built around one question: how do you visually represent an artist whose power comes from controlling when he's seen?
Role: Sole creative, concept through execution across the full rollout. Poster design, street-level wheatpasting concept, editorial layout, writing, and photo editing.
The Peekaboo concept plays visibility against absence, deconstructed currency typography and a mirrored car silhouette on the wheatpasted poster, to mirror how Lamar moves through culture: appearing suddenly, saying the hardest things, then stepping back.
The Wages War magazine feature extends that same rollout into print, grounding the concept in the weight of his catalog, work that's inseparable from the Black American experience and unafraid of the politics some audiences resist.
Jacquemus × Bauhaus Campaign
A class project pairing a fashion house with a fine art movement. I chose Bauhaus for its geometric grid and primary color language, then applied it to a Jacquemus bag drop announcement.
Role: Sole creative, concept through execution. Art direction, layout, and design.
The Bauhaus grid gives the poster structure and a clear point of view, translating a movement built on order and function into a fashion moment that still reads as a drop, not a museum wall.
Primary colors and geometric line work frame the product without competing with it, keeping the Jacquemus wordmark and campaign image as the focal point.
